My old sliegh filled with cedar boughs

It has been fun this year decorating the front porch. This well be a joy for me for years to come. Our three lights in front along the beam were actually made to hang but with the winds out here we had steel frames made for them to sit in. They are just beautiful at night.

Our pines circle the front of the house all the way around the north side to the back yard. I truly love that we were able to do this as we were building.

This is what it looked like outside last year as we worked on our walls and flooring. I loved having our 20 pines planted before the first snow came.

Hang a garland of gourds on a door or across a window

Had to show you our gutter setup on the back of the garage. These two gutters now empty into a 1200 hundred gallon tank, and we use this water to water the gardens and all of our trees.

A ladder made out of branches and a wreath make a wonderful outdoor decoration

Our front and back wood racks are full. And now we are using the wood most mornings.

About Me

Carol: I have been married to my very best friend for eons (LOL) well between 40 and 50 years anyway. We have two wonderful sons and both of them have found that special someone to share their lives with. I have been a waitress, a factory worker, a sales person in a upscale womens clothing store, and a bookkeeper for a small local business. Little did I know (at the time) that these four occupations were giving me all the knowledge I would need to open my own little primitive home decor store, and with a lot of help from the Lord, have it be a successfull little business for 23 years. I feel I have been very blessed in so many ways in this journey through life and know that the next interesting thing is just around the corner.

These are some of the things buried under overgrown weeds in the back of the house under the trees. The sythe my dear sister gave to me and our uncle had given it to her.
