A little place for me to share my love of a more simple time in our history.

It is amazing how much work actually goes into building a house. From digging-- to basement walls-- to sub-floor and then starting the first floor walls. Before the sub-floor was finished we needed to have some of the plumbing brought through the basement walls, decide where to bring in the electrical, where the septic line would come in and where the sump pump would go. And would you beleive that we needed to make these decisions before the well was dug or the septic system was in place.
